‘Best Quran Recitation’ Competition on Facebook
TEHRAN (IQNA) – A Quran recitation competition titled “The Voice Quran” has been launched by a group of Egyptian youth on Facebook.
According to youm7.com, the main objective of the organizers is to identify talented Qaris and support innovations in Quran recitation.
It is the first time that such a competition has been started on Facebook in line with various Quranic programs implemented to identify Quranic talents in Egypt.
The admin of the Quranic page on Facebook said that the contest is held for two groups, children and adults. Boys in all age groups and girls aged below 16 years can participate in the competition.
The participants should send a video file of their recitation of Surah Fatiha to the Faceboo page by February 22. Ten best Quran recitations which receive the most number of positive comments will be awarded.
