Online Hijab Expo Planned in Iran
Asadollah Soleimani, managing director of Hijab data-x-Items Producers Association, said the expo was annually held along with the Tehran International Quran Exhibition but this year the Quranic event has been cancelled due to the coronavirus pandemic.
Hence, he said, the Hijab and Ifaf exhibition will be organized in the cyberspace, he added.
According to Soleimani, the online exhibition will run until May 30.
He noted that those willing to see and order Hijab and Ifaf related data-x-items can visit Hijab99.ir as of Saturday.
The Tehran International Quran Exhibition is annually organized by the Iranian Ministry of Culture and Islamic Guidance in the holy month of Ramadan.
Like many other religious, cultural and social activities, however, it was called off as part of measures taken to stem the spread of the coronavirus.
