Egypt Awqaf Ministry Holding Courses for Religious Teachers, Preachers
TEHRAN (IQNA) – Egypt’s Awqaf Ministry said it is holding courses for its religious teachers and preachers to enhance their understanding of Quran concepts.
According to el-Balad News, the ministry said organizing the courses is part of efforts to elevate the religious knowledge of its teachers and preachers.
They include lessons on Tajweed, Tafseer (interpretation) if the verses of the last Juz (part) of the Quran, and religious teachings, it added.
The ministry said those who pass the courses successfully will be awarded.
Recently, Awqaf Minister Mohamed Mokhtar Gomaa said courses will be held for the country’s imams and preachers to enhance their religious knowledge.
He also said Quran memorizer ought to be familiar with Tafseer and other Quranic sciences.
