“Interfaith Dialogue” Photo Exhibition in Yerevan

A photo exhibition of interfaith dialogue titled “My Choice, Your Respect” has been held by Iranian Cultural Center and the Public Committee of the European Union based in Armenia.


According to IQNA’s branch in Central Asia, the Blue Mosque of Yerevan is hosting the exhibition of 28 photos taken by Sona Adamian, Armenian photographer and journalist.

The photographer has tried to introduce the life of an Iranian Muslim family as well as Muslims prayers and worship.

The opening ceremony of the exhibition was attended by Ra’isi, Iranian ambassador to Yerevan, and Armenian citizens.

Speaking at the ceremony, Majid Meshki, Iranian cultural attaché in Armenia, said that the influential interaction of the photographer and social organizations as well as the expertise in selection of the themes resulted in the success of the exhibition.

He said that such exhibitions which are well received by the citizens will promote cultural relations of the two countries.

The exhibition was opened on June 27 at 5 p.m. local time. It will run for one week.
