Quran Memorizers Palestine’s Future-Makers
Mazin Abu Zayd made the remark in a ceremony held to honor memorizers of the entire Quran.
According to alqalaamedia.com, the program was organized by the committee in the city of Khan Yunis, south of the Gaza Strip.
Abu Zayd stressed the necessity of supporting Quran memorizers and talented Palestinian children.
He said the committee plans to honor all Quran memorizers in different parts of the Khan Yunis governorate.
"The Quran memorizers of the country will take the responsibility of defending the Palestinian cause”, he added.
Adnan Assar, the secretary of the committee, also addressed the event, saying that special attention should be paid to the younger generation in order to make the future of the country.
Noting that Palestine needs a responsible and faithful generation of youths, he called on the youth to act upon the teachings of Quran and Sunnah of the Holy Prophet (PBUH).
The committee has so far honored 1800 talented and successful students in different fields and from different age groups.
