More than 300 publishers from 24 countries will participate at the international exhibition, slated to be held from December 7 to 9.
The new publications of the foundation will be introduced in a ceremony at the exhibition on December 7.
It will be attended by academic figures, authors and researchers from Russia’s universities and scientific centers.
The Sadra Publication Institute in Russia will also present its new works at the book fair.
The Ibn Sina Islamic Culture Research Foundation was established in 2007. It unites the members of academic and student communities who study various aspects of Islamic culture, science and philosophy.
The foundation mainly focuses on translation of literature from Oriental (Arabic, Persian) and Western languages into Russian, Islamic culture and philosophy research, publishing activities, compilation of encyclopedias and dictionaries, cooperation with Russian and foreign scientific centers, giving research grants in the areas of Islamic studies, organization of scientific and cultural conferences, symposia, exhibitions; teacher and student exchange with the biggest world universities.
