Official Highlights Gen. Soleimani’s Faith, Ikhlas
Speaking to IQNA, Ali Nikzad said General Soleimani had great faith and Ikhlas (purity of intention) as well as courage and those were the characteristics that made him great.
Hajj Qassem was also proud to be a solider of Wali Faqih (the Leader) and the people, Nikzad added.
The parliamentarian also said that General Soleimani, who enhanced Iran’s power and dignity, would always seek martyrdom from God.
General Soleimani was assassinated by a US strike on January 3, 2020, when he was on an official visit to the Iraqi capital Baghdad.
Hitting his convoy, the barbaric assault also led to the martyrdom of many others, including Abu Mahdi al-Muhandis, deputy commander of Iraq’s Popular Mobilization Units (PMU) or Hashd al-Sha’abi anti-terror force.
