TEHRAN (IQNA) – Some verses of the Holy Quran highlight the power of the Creator and compare it to that of world beings.

Contemplating these verses helps us get a new perspective of the world and develop our theological knowledge.

Some of these verses that highlight the Creator’s power and things He can do but others can’t are as follows:

“This is the creation of God. Show me what those whom you consider equal to God have created. In fact, the unjust ones are in plain error.” (Verse 11 of Surah Luqman)

“(Muhammad), ask them, ‘Who would save you from the darkness of the land and sea if you were to pray humbly and secretly saying, ‘Would that we were saved from this, for we would certainly then give thanks’.” (Verse 63 of Surah Al-An’am)

“Who answers the oppressed when he supplicates to Him and removes evil and appoints you as inheritors of the earth, is there a god with Allah? How little you remember!” (Verse 62 of Surah An-Naml)

“Who guides you in the darkness of the land and sea, and sends the winds bearing glad tidings of His Mercy, is there a god with Allah? Exalted is Allah above what they associate.” (Verse 63 of Surah An-Naml)

“Do you make it grow or is it We who make it grow?” (Verse 64 of Surah Al-Waqi’ah)

“The living germ, then, was turned into a shapeless lump of flesh from which bones were formed. The bones, then, were covered with flesh. At this stage, We caused it to become another creature. All blessings belong to God, the best Creator.”(Verse 14 of Surah Al-Muminun)
