In a recent incident on Sunday, approximately 430 extremist settlers carried out an unauthorized intrusion into the courtyards of the holy compound in occupied Jerusalem, marking yet another breach of one of Islam's most sacred sites.

On Tuesday, the United Arab Emirates (UAE) issued a formal condemnation of this act, reaffirming its stance on the imperative need to ensure the complete protection of al-Aqsa Mosque and to prevent any provocative transgressions within its premises. In an official statement released by the UAE's foreign ministry, particular emphasis was placed on upholding the custodial role of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan concerning the holy sites and endowments, in accordance with international law.

The statement also underscored the importance of preserving the authority of the Jerusalem Endowment Administration and Al Aqsa Mosque. Furthermore, the ministry called upon Israeli authorities to assume responsibility for de-escalating the situation and putting an end to any actions that could further exacerbate tensions.

On Monday, the Saudi Foreign Ministry decried the actions of Israeli forces as "a blatant violation of all international norms and conventions, and a provocation to the feelings of Muslims across the world." The ministry held Israeli forces entirely accountable for the potential consequences resulting from their ongoing transgressions and called upon the international community to fulfill its obligations in order to de-escalate the situation, safeguard civilian populations, and make earnest efforts to bring an end to the conflict.

Simultaneously, the Egyptian Foreign Ministry urged Israeli authorities to "immediately stop any actions that would provoke the feelings of millions of Muslims around the world and stoke violence in the occupied Palestinian territories."

Meanwhile, Jordan's Foreign Ministry expressed strong condemnation on Sunday regarding the intrusion by extremist individuals. The ministry's statement declared that these actions constituted a breach of the historical and legal status quo governing the al-Aqsa Mosque and represented a desecration of sacred places. Ministry spokesperson Sanan Al-Majali called upon the regime to halt all such activities and violations against the mosque and to demonstrate respect for its sanctity.
