Iranian, Pakistani Qaris’ Munafisah at Mahfel TV Show (+Video)

IQNA – An Iranian and a Pakistani qari performed a Quran recitation in the form of Munafisah (taking turns to recite the verses).

The recitation was performed on the second episode of the Mahfel Quranic TV show aired on the Channel 3 of the Islamic Republic of Iran Broadcasting (IRIB) Wednesday evening.

At the program, Sheikh Abdul Rashid, a renowned Pakistani qari, recited Verses 28 and 29 of Surah Al-Fat’h and prominent Iranian qari Hamed Shakernejad accompanied him in the recitation.

Mahfel is a Quranic TV show aired on the IRIB in the holy month of Ramadan.

Screening the second season of the popular program began on the first day of Ramadan on Tuesday.

It is broadcast just before sunset every day during the holy month, offering a spiritual oasis for viewers as they prepare to break their fast.

With a primary focus on the Quran, the program aims to enrich the brief moments of respite for fasting individuals through insightful discussions and captivating recitations.

A key element contributing to the program's allure is the inclusion of Quranic experts, particularly notable foreign scholars such as Sayyid Hassanayn al-Hulw from Iraq and Rizwan Darwish from Syria. The program also features two Iranian experts, namely renowned qaris Hamed Shakernejad and Ahmad Abolghasemi.
